
Hi Dennis. I usually get up around 5am every day. I discovered my hot water tank had broken down and spewed water all over the basement floor. “Who ya gonna call” I thought. I called you. Your tech Ed finished the installation of the new hot water tank early last night. Ed was very professional and cleaned up after himself. When Ed arrived around 4:15pm yesterday he discovered he didn’t have all the parts he needed to do the install. He left and came back around 5:15pm with the parts and did the install even though most parts places were closing or closed. This is above and beyond service Dennis. Weiss-Johnson provided incredible service in my hour of need.

We have had a busy winter and I had not had a chance to write this letter, which I feel should be noted.
This is regarding the service Steve Rooker had provided when he came to service our furnace in November and December 2008. Steve is a very polite young man and courteous. He did an excellent job servicing our furnace and we also appreciated the cleanliness that he left the area when completed. Steve was able to let us know if there were any problems with the furnace and able to answer any of our questions. If we are in need of your service once again we will request Steve.
These days, people do not take time to recognize workers like Steve Rooker and we felt that it should be brought to your attention.

This letter is to express my contentment with the outstanding services provided by the personnel at Weiss Johnson. Although my Trane furnace was not installed by Weiss Johnson, the service personnel and management staff at Weiss Johnson have been wonderful in assuring my satisfaction with this furnace.
About six and ½ years ago, I purchased a new Trane Furnace and it was installed by a company other than Weiss Johnson. There were issues with the initial installation and it did not pass the city inspectors certification. The company came back and modified the furnace installation to code. When I called this other company just a few short weeks later, they were unwilling to provide answers or service to my new furnace, Of course the furnace was on warranty and I found that another contractor would provide service although they did not install the furnace.
The furnace that I write about is located on the main floor of a basement-less bungalow and has a “down draft” installation. My understanding of this type of installation is that the motor and inner workings of the furnace are turned upside down, so that the hot air blows down instead of up. This furnace has encountered several minor service issues (burnt wire, loose wire) and a couple of the more expensive type of service calls while on warranty. Unfortunately during the period of time that my furnace was under warranty; it was always fixed, but only temporarily and the company that was working on it regularly never actually got to the root of the problem. Edgar Rose a service technician from Weiss Johnson finally realized and rectified the problem with this furnace.
I am grateful to have found the company of Weiss Johnson to provide maintenance services for my furnaces. These service guys are well experienced, knowledgeable and Weiss Johnson has strong beliefs in customer service. I am certain that this furnace has been repaired once and for all. I was offered a complete explanation to understand what had been happening with the furnace and I am completely satisfied with all aspects of the service call.
As a homeowner and rental property owner, I have more than a couple of furnaces to maintain. I have purchased two new furnaces and have paid for more than one service call for furnaces in my lifetime. These days, the consumer needs reliable, honest service personnel that can get right on the problem and provide maintenance/service at the reasonable price. In dealing with Wayne Rendell at Weiss Johnson, my findings are that the personnel at Weiss Johnson strive to provide exceptional service at reasonable price.

Dear Mr. Johnson,
I need to request that our Weiss-Johnson furnace installer return to our home. Apparently my husband feels his workmanship is a ‘work of art’ and I think he should come back and sign his masterpiece like all classic artists do!!
Seriously, I couldn’t help but write to tell you about how often my husband drags our friends to the basement to see our new Weiss-Johnson furnace system. It is impressive – don’t get me wrong but I haven’t see this man so excited about nay thing we have purchased – EVER!
You guys were the best with all aspect of this project. During the initial consult your guys listened carefully to how we wanted to remove two old, inefficient furnaces and replace them with one big, high efficiency Trane furnace. They helped us understand the implications of our decision and your guys even figured out ways to solve some of the inherent drawback to this plan – things we hadn’t even thought about!!
They had to totally remodel the duct work – this is the part that my husband LOVES to show off. Our furnace room is also our storage room .Not only is the workmanship top notch (and very impressive- just ask any of our friends..they’ve all had a grand tour!) but the installer actually thought about the placement of the furnace, pipes and ducts so that we didn’t lose any of the functionality of that room – in fact we gained a great deal of space. I was impressed with how clean and tidy he was!
I’m the kind of person who is ALWAYS cold. Winter, summer doesn’t matter; I never seem to be able to keep warm. The biggest thing I noticed with the new furnace is the consistency in the temperature of my home. With the old furnace – I was warm when it ran, and then when it stopped blowing the temp in inside the house started falling until the furnace kicked in again. Now the temp is consistently comfortable. It’s a noticeable and amazing difference and I LOVE not having to take my sweater on and off all day long.

We recently purchased and renovated an older home and contacted Weiss Johnson to replace our old furnaces and hot water tank, and to install an air conditioning unit. They were so helpful to let us know of all the options for our home, and what was the best “bang for our buck”. They recommended a single high efficiency furnace based on the layout of our house.
In order to accommodate the unique layout of our home, Weiss Johnson installed one heating zone for the bedrooms, one for the remaining main level and one for the basement. All three zones are linked into the single high efficiency furnace as well as the air conditioning unit. When one portion of our home requires heating or cooling the system is engaged to only heat or cool that portion that requires such. We have found this to be a great way to conserve on energy by only heating and cooling portions of the home as it is required. In addition, we have found by the utilizing programmable thermostats with this system we are able to customize the temperature to accommodate our usage of different parts of the house; for example we do not have to heat or cool the main living area during the night when they are unoccupied.
Weiss Johnson was scheduled to come and replace the furnace and just days before we had an early birth of a child. We worried about having them into our home for this installation at such a busy and stressful time, but our concerns were alleviated. The staff was courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and always showed up when they said they would! The job was completed very efficiently, there was no mess left behind and our heating and cooling needs are satisfied.
We were thrilled with our experience with Weiss Johnson from beginning to end, and are completely satisfied with each of the systems they recommended. We have, and will continue tom recommend Weiss Johnson to friends and colleagues!

Hi Brian,
I wanted to drop you a quick note to say “thank you!” Your people came to our house last Friday, November 2nd to check on our furnace (as it was making quite an awful squealing sound) and install a humidifier. They arrived promptly, checked the furnace and installed the humidifier. Your guy then advised that he did not have the motor he needed to fix the furnace, he would have to pick one up and he would try to return later than day. If he could not return on Friday, he would call me to make arrangements to come back when it was convenient. Honestly, I did not expect him to come back on Friday, but he called at around 5:30pm and asked if he could come back and change the motor, which he promptly did. I doubt I even need to tell you how surprised we both were to have a trades-person come to our house at 5:45pm on a Friday!
I realize that it is very difficult to get people these days, let alone good people, and we are all very quick to complain when things don’t go well, so I thought it only appropriate to send you a quick note and tell you how pleased we were with the service you provided and how pleasant the two people were that came to our house.

This is something I have been meaning to send for a few months but somehow it got buried in my pile of things to do. It was back in November of 2007 that my furnace kept shutting down. There had been two servicemen out from the company to do repairs but even after replacing the ignition module it still kept shutting down and seemed difficult to determine what the problem was. I was getting quite anxious as I had my elderly mother coming to recuperate at my house and needed the heat working.
Just wanted to tell you how grateful I was to have you zero in on the problem and complete the repairs. I had complete confidence in you and knowing that the repairs were done correctly and that I didn’t have to worry anymore was the biggest relief. Unfortunately there does not seem to be all that many trades/servicemen of your quality and with true professionalism and knowledge, so really wanted to take the time to let you know how very much someone like you is appreciated! And boy when it turned really cold in January I was thanking you every night!
Back during that time in November 2007, I had spoken to Dennis Johnson on a night when it had shut down again. He was very pleasant and accommodating so I wanted him to know also that I was so happy to have you finally come out to my house to complete the repairs.
